Country French Exterior Wood Entry Door Style DbyD-2401

This home at 416 Towne Lake Drive in Montgomery, Alabama was built as a brick traditional home in 1993.  Some years later the owners replaced the brick on the front of the house with stone to update the look to a "Country French Look".  You can see below a picture of the home after that transformation.  The door, sidelites and transom in the picture below were built by us and installed on the house when it was built new.

In 2006 the home went on the market and was bought by Charles and Marcy Jones, the Owners of Doors By Decora.  They completed the "Country French Look" by Custom Designing this pair of 8 Foot Common Radius Top Doors with a Jamb so they could be installed in the Rectangular Hole left when the old door unit was removed without having to make any structural changes to the home.  The Entry now compliments the look of the 4 Radius Top Windows on the front of the home.

The Doors are built of Knotty Alder with V-Groove Raised Panels in the bottom of the doors.  The doors have Lion Heads on the inside and outside.  The doors are finished with a Highlighted Cherry Stain.  The glass is Leaded Clear Seedy glass and there is a Custom Iron Grill on the outside to complete the look.  They picked Rocky Mountain Sand Cast Bronze Hardware for the doors.

Ordering Procedure

Our order procedure is simple, once we have priced out your unit it can be ordered by a fax, E-mail or a phone call. When you place your order we will prepare a complete order approval package with detailed shop drawings and measurements for your review and approval. We will not start building anything until you sign and return this package. We have a list of approved installers for most areas. Since all of our doors are built to your specifications we require a 50% deposit and the balance is due at the time of shipment. These payments can be made by check or credit card.  All orders are shipped freight collect and the freight line will collect the actual shipping charge at the time of delivery.
